ONION DIP / PYAAZ KI CHUTNEY


Whether it's chutney for your pakoras, or a dip for your chicken nuggets, this chutney/dip can be utilized in many ways, even as a bread spread!





METHOD:


  1. Grind the onions, ginger and green chillies to a smooth paste in a food processor. Keep aside.
  2. In a small pan, heat the oil on a medium flame till it is very hot.
  3. Add the cumin seeds and fry till they stop spluttering.
  4. Now add the dry red chillies and fry till they turn darker.
  5. Add this tempering mixture of oil, cumin and red chillies to the onion-ginger-green chilli paste.
  6. Add salt to taste.
  7. Stir to mix well.
  8. Serve as chutney, dip or use as a sandwich spread.
