Okay, so after a really long break, I'm back.
Being a hosteller for 4 years, can absolutely destroy your taste buds, thanks to the 'lovely' hostel meals.
Thanks to the restaurant that opened shop next to my college, we ordered in quite often, and somehow survived those 4 years.!
One of my favourite items on the menu was 'Methi Malai Paneer'.
Yum!!
Tried to recreate it, with the help of this recipe. Not the same though, but good nonetheless.!

METHOD:
- Take a pan, put oil, add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
- Add methi (crushed by hand), saute for 1 min.
- Add kaju paste, stir. Then add malai and stir it till it leaves oil.
- Add salt and white pepper.
- Add milk and water, let it boil at low flame for 3-4 minutes
- You are now done with the gravy.
- Before serving add cubed paneer (pre-soaked in lukewarm water).
- Serve hot, garnished with a little cream.
Enjoy!
